Good News for Rugby in Hastings, St Leonards, Bexhill and Sussex

Hastings & Bexhill RFC are delighted that the hard work put in by their coaches and volunteers has resulted in the Club being award the RFU Seal of Approval.

The RFU introduced the Seal of Approval accreditation programme as a method of examining, maintaining and improving the provision of rugby in the youth section of a rugby club.

Building upon current good practice, the accreditation aims to recognise the effort and achievement of those clubs that reach, maintain and improve on the required standard of a club committed to the provision of quality rugby union experiences for young players.

With nearly 200 players in teams from under 7's to under 18's Hastings & Bexhill RFC understand the need to provide Rugby in a safe and enjoyable environment.

"We are now into the second year of our Youth Development Plan and already we are seeing results" says Club Chairman David Hirst "We have Players from three age groups in County Squads and our partnership with both Harlequins RFC and London Wasps RFC continues to provide playing and training opportunities."

Anyone interested in playing Rugby, at all levels, is always welcome.
