Hastings & Bexhill Rugby Club's Colts continued their winning ways by defeating highly rated Heathfield & Waldron on Sunday.
Playing against the wind, the H&B pack soon began to dominate their rivals and this superiority was rewarded by three tries, two from second row Tom Mann and one from No. 8 Chris Stern. All were converted by captain Ben Lee.
Not to be outdone by the forward, the H&B back line continued to cross the gain line at every opportunity.
Against a determined defence in which not one H&B player to a step back, Heathfield were unable to gain a foothold in the game, although a lapse in concentration just before half time let them in for a try.
Leading 21 - 5 at the turnaround, H&B started the second half in a confident manner, but the resolute Heathfield defence limited them to a single try, scored by Stern.
