Hastings & Bexhill runs four senior teams, which aim to offer a comprehensive range of rewarding rugby.
The 1st XV plays in the Sussex 1 League. They also compete in National and County Cup competitions.
The 2nd XV offers a springboard into the 1st XV and a development route for younger players. They train as a squad with the 1st XV. The 2nd XV plays its rugby in Sussex Intermediate.
The 3rd XV plays in the Mid Kent & East Sussex "C" League. This team offers the Colts their first taste of senior rugby where the more senior players can offer guidance and encouragement during what is a big step up. Although it offers a more relaxed, traditional style of social rugby, for those for whom the social aspects of rugby is every bit as important as scoring tries, it is nevertheless still a team that enjoys competing and winning.
The Veterans XV is for those players whose knees, spirit and old-fashioned plain black boots have survived well past the age of 35, and who enjoy reviving dreams of mostly-imagined past glories. They play so-called friendlies throughout the season.
All of these teams provide a warm welcome to fresh faces and new talent.
There is training for the men's teams on Tuesdays and Thursdays on the club's pitches at William Parker Sports College from 7 to 9pm. Coaching takes places under floodlights, run by a team of RFU-qualified coaches, including one level 3 and three level 2, as well as a number of guest and specialist coaching sessions.
The large, welcoming clubhouse - which looks out onto the pitches - is open for refreshments on training nights.
